Our school district administrators will present the district budget for 2023-2024 and answer questions from the floor. The entire budget will also be reviewed at the following BOE meetings: April 3, April 19, May 8 as in-person at Pierson Library or via Zoom – meeting link is available on the District website events page.
Residents will be asked to vote on the school district budget and bond propositions. Below are links to follow for more information:

The NCC hopes everyone will inform themselves on the budget and evaluate the bond requests accordingly. Please join us for an informative discussion on how your tax dollars are being used at Sag Harbor Schools. WE URGE EVERYONE TO VOTE ON MAY 16.
Absentee Ballot and Voter Registration Info
Please be aware there are two different absentee ballot applications posted on the SHUFSD website. One is correct and the other is not and should not be used.
Under the Marsden Street Properties tab, there is a link to the "New York State Absentee Ballot Application" on the left and side under the "documents" section. This application is NOT the correct document for a school election/vote.
Under the "Community" tab, there is a link to the "School District Absentee Ballot Application" under the Budget Vote and Election tab. This application is the CORRECT document and should be the only one submitted to SHUFSD District Clerk.
Please inform others so that all are aware.

This form must be received by the Board of Elections no later than May 6 if you wish to vote on May 16.*
In-person voting on May 16th takes place at Pierson Middle/High School Gym typically from 7AM - 9PM.
