Items of Interest

  1. September 11 – 12: The NCC will be at HarborFest! Please stop by our booth! Meet fellow members of the Noyac Civic Council at HarborFest as we launch our membership campaign and engage with our community. The Noyac Civic Council is the strongest advocate for our hamlet, the jewel of Southampton Town. We are proud members of the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce.

  2. Sand Land Mine Update August 23, 2021: The Appellate Division did NOT grant Sand Land/DEC permission to appeal to the Court of Appeals in our underlying suit against DEC. The Court also did not grant the motion for a declaration that there was a stay of the Court's underlying order annulling DEC's permits. (This was the decision released on May 27, 2021.) This means that the mine should STOP mining, but of course SL continues to operate.

  3. East Hampton Airport Noise: East Hampton Town has to reach a decision on whether or not to take FAA $ in September. If Noyac residents are bothered by the noise, please write to voice your opinions to EH Town Council.

  4. “We Love Noyac” Signs: (shown above) We’ve created lawn signs to show our love of Noyac and encourage new membership in the NCC! If you would like one to place on your lawn or business, please contact us. (Note: signs cannot be placed on public property.)
