A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSal to USE CIRCLE BEACH

at 1PM

TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON TOWN TRUSTEES meeting.

On Monday, April 18, The Southampton Trustees held a Public Hearing on a proposal for a License Agreement between the Trustees and Kamadeva Yoga to use Circle Beach for private and group paddleboard classes, lessons, tours and half-day camps for children from May to September from 8AM to 8PM. The next public hearing will be Monday, May 2, at 1PM.

Here is the Notice of Public Hearing announcement from the Trustees’ agenda:

Notice of Public Hearing for a License Agreement between the Board of Trustees and Kamadeva Yoga, LLC.

WHEREAS, the Trustees wish to receive comments from members of the public regarding a proposed license agreement between the Trustees and Kamadeva Yoga, LLC, for the purpose of allowing Jessica Bellofatto, founding and sole member of Kamadeva Yoga, LLC, to use Circle Beach and its waters for the purpose of conducting private and small group paddleboard classes, lessons, tours, and half-day camps for kids from May to September of 2022 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and

WHEREAS, said activity will increase the number of people and cars (both moving and parked) at Circle beach; and

WHEREAS, Circle beach is a small beach with a small parking lot; and

WHEREAS, members of the public who use Circle Beach have an interest in both the number of people and cars present at Circle beach; now therefore, be it…

The above is the notice of public hearing. It is available on the Trustees’s portion of the Town website from the April 4th meeting agenda.

You may speak at the May 2 meeting at Town Hall or can write to the Trustees and comments will be included in the public record.
