Sand Land Mine’s Many Appeals
Sand Land Mine appeared again on the March 3rd ZBA agenda to address the C.O. violation from 2016.
In April, 2016 the Town issued the Sand Land Mine a violation for not having the proper Certificate of Occupancy (C.O.). The Mine has appealed the ruling by asking to be on the Zoning Board of Appeal’s agenda many, many times in the years that followed, but for one reason or another the appeals get tabled.
The NCC was informed that on March 3rd, the ZBA board deemed the appeal to be abandoned and took it off the agenda.
Sand Land is also appealing the issuance of the Town's Stop Work Order at a ZBA hearing on April 7th. We are asking for clarification on that appeal.
Enough is enough. The Town should enforce its ordinances. These delays would never be permitted by ordinary citizens in Southampton.
