Contamination Impacting the Suffolk County Aquifer (OUR WATER SUPPLY)

On Friday, March 9, 2018, Dr. Stuart Cohen, PhD, presented an analysis of raw data from the Suffolk County Health Department’s test wells located at the Sand Land Mine and he disclosed that contaminants are seeping into our aquifer which is located beneath the Mine and is everyone’s source of water on the East End.
Bob DeLuca, President of Group for the East End, will explain Dr. Cohen’s analysis. What happens to the aquifer could impact private wells, water from the Suffolk County Water Authority, and our bays and beaches.
